A huge congratulations to each of our lovely students, who successfully completed our 22-26 April 2024 Marine & Offshore Refrigeration Course, gaining their City & Guilds Level 2 Awards in F Gas and ODS Regulations: Category I.
It means the world to us that we can support our students with their career progression in the marine refrigeration industry and our recurring courses are the highlight of our month.
Our comprehensive 5 day courses repeat on a monthly basis with a mixture of theory and practical learning throughout the week & our students can gain huge amounts of knowledge, plus an internationally bench-marked qualification.
Each student attending the 22- 26 April course has passed their theory / practical exams and gained their certifications, all thanks to their hard work and dedication to the training. We’re simply delighted and wish each attendee a bright and successful future ahead.
Our next course will be held in our Somerset, UK training centre and starts 20 May 2024. We can’t wait to celebrate another round of success stories! At the time of writing, this course has ONE spot remaining of 8 seats. To grab the last remaining space for May, please contact us.
We’re so grateful for the lovely feedback from the 22-26 April course:
“A fantastic course which has been written, taught and structured to give a great understanding of Marine Refrigeration and AC systems. I now feel confident on working with these systems onboard yachts. Thank you for a great week.” – Timoteo Obiang Moro Mangue
“Very informative week. Some great information and tips on maintenance and troubleshooting marine refrigeration systems. The course was extremely helpful for my everyday knowledge of on board systems.” – Gaspar Ndong Edu Mbang
“Fantastic course, amazing what you can learn and the confidence gained in 5 days!” – Vicente Paulino Moto Mangue
“Good theoretical and practical course. Good hands on experience in fault-finding, emptying, charging and commissioning plants. Creds to the instructor for giving the students the confidence to try on their own.” – Thomas Iversen
“Course was clear and well set up. For someone who has not had much experience on working with AC units it was extremely helpful and gave me a good fundamental understanding of the practical side of commissioning. Only thing extra I would have liked would have been more problem diagnosis teaching.” – Connor McCann
What is the City & Guilds 2079 Qualification?
The City & Guilds 2079 qualification focuses on the major principles of F-Gas (fluorinated gas) and Ozone Depleting Substances (ODS) in stationary refrigeration, air-conditioning, and heat pump systems. Learners who successfully complete this qualification are legally entitled to work on these systems within the UK, in line with the 2009 F-Gas and ODS Regulations.
Our MORC 5 Day Courses are held once a month and alternate between our Palma, Spain training centre and our Somerset, UK training centre. Each course has a limited number of seats to ensure we provide each student with a personal learning experience.
